I have been playing the piano since I was three, when my Mum began teaching me. Since then I have been involved with all kinds of music in every kind of gigging situation – from full concert orchestra to solo piano, from screaming hardcore punk rock to boogie woogie piano trio, from triangle to accordion, from sell out shows to dead empty, good fees and bad. I’ve been fortunate enough to make a living, lately from playing original music. But it’s time for a shake up. We have just moved from Wellington, New Zealand to New York City, USA. That’s a population shift of approximately 14.6 million. The purpose of this page is to make it easier to find gigs and people to play with. It is a list of music that I have been playing recently, with relevant links if you would like to follow up on any of the groups (I also give my roles within each group in parentheses).
